2 Months

Searsucker and that smile!! Ugh I just love it!

This girl grows exponentially each day. Her cheeks are so full, and in pictures she hides it well, but that girl has got a jiggly chin that could rival Honey Boo Boo's mama any day! I call it her "sweet meat." It's just so soft and kissable. And those cheeks!I mean just look at them! Are they not the yummiest things you've ever seen?
Outgrew her bassinet
Outgrew her newborn clothes
This past month with her has been so fun. Around six weeks she really started sleeping through the night. 8 straight hours of bliss!! When she was really feeling generous she slept up to 10 hours - I was amazed when I'd wake up before her.
Paisley met her great-grandmother, Alice Jo
She is so cute when she wakes up and stretches, tries to open her eyes for a minute, darts them around, and then finds our faces. Once she focuses in on us she has the biggest smile! She definitely did not get waking up happy from me...
An absolute angel!
She is also very vocal. Sometimes when she's nursing, she stops, looks up at me, and just starts cooing and smiling. It's probably my favorite time of the day. That and when she "talks" to us for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. She also seems to stare at this one picture of Jeff and me. She just stares and smiles. Jeff always asks her why she wants to look at that picture when she's got the real thing right in front of her.
Such a little lady
Sweet P also loves baths and is all smiles splashing around in her pink, footed, diva tub (though by the looks of her pictures in it she hates it). She could not be a better baby and she is such a light and a joy in our lives. Man, we love her!!!
We did not curl that.... Curly hair maybe?
Hung out with Julie
Made a trip to Valdosta
Ashley came to visit
Well, maternity leave is almost over and soon I'll be headed back to school teaching 4th grade. It's bittersweet because I absolutely love teaching and I work at the best school. At the same time, HELLO! Have you met Paisley?! How could you leave that sweet face? I know I'm going to have mascara running down my face before my 2 minute commute to school is over. I'll probably cry while I'm pumping on my lunch break, too, because I'd rather just be at home feeding her myself. I just have to keep telling myself that it's only a few weeks until Thanksgiving, then a few more until Christmas, and then it's all downhill from there.

Check-up Stats: 12 lbs. 13 oz. 23.5 inches

You guys seriously scored with a happy easy baby (that sleeps!) first time around (ask Jake). Enjoy it! Can't wait to meet her.
